Welcome to Stamp Community Forum, Timelord74!

Rod is correct, you have the 50 sen stamp, the 8th of 11 denominations for the 1888 issue showing value tablet in the middle. Imperforates were issued starting in 1890.

There are an additional 3 stamps in this registration tax revenue stamp set (toki inshi) that were issued in 1898 showing portraits instead of value tablets. Forbin lists 3 additional (10y, 50y, 100y), but I don't have a Furuya or Shimomura to confirm (what I had read elsewhere only mentioned the 10y and 50y values). Maybe Dave can fill in some blanks...

I see no need to keep referring people to other stamp forums when the answers are already in this forum. There is a search button at the top for this site, and if that's not good enough you can always use Advanced Google Search using the URL for Stamp Community Forum as a parameter for a more detailed site search.

That being said, I've always found the link to the Japanese revenue stamp website very useful and it's good to see that link posted.

Timelord74, you have a Chinese postal savings stamp, part of a set of six issued by Central Trust of China in 1943, intended to promote national savings and reconstruction. Rod showed the complete set of 6 in his 5th post on the 1st page of the following old thread: http://goscf.com/t/8383
