Thanks Geoff,
the background was valuable.
My stamp remains unidentified.
1. The Keyplate design is not shown in Barefoot
2. the 16/- value tablet, is not listed.

It seems Mr. Barefoot has limited knowledge here, he jumps from 1945? to 1971? The question marks suggest in-depth information is difficult to be sourced.

Rod222 when I was at work people sometimes referred to paying your stamp r paying full stamp when talking about our wages, I took it as a simile for National insurance payments, but this is the first time I have ever seen a National insurance stamp, or knew that the stamp could be an actual bit of perforated, gummed paper.
What book or journal is E.J. Nankivells piece from?
Thank you for these two superb Nuggets of information.

Regards the Post, 4 posts above, the Machin Multiple,
It just struck me,
Am I correct with the "Band structures"

I cannot see how 2 band structures, could be different in one printing
surely both stamp values would have the same band ID.

Hi Rod,

I look out for the three varieties on these KEVIII stamps with wider settings of the word, "MOROCCO".

Here are the normal and wider "MOROCCO" versions of the Spanish currency surcharge 1d value:

The other two varieties like this are on the 1d and 2.5d values of the British currency overprints.
