Alaska Mass Flight Mail - 1934

Thanks Don for your generous offer to assist the AAMS catalog writing folks with possibly using an SQL formatting. I am not very knowledgeable about SQL formatting and my current understanding is they are focusing on the writing of the text for each entry and illustrating each one with photos of covers and cachets to bring out the full set of volumes of the 7th edition, but their goal afterwards is to have the 7th edition be the final one they write and have future efforts focused more simply on providing somewhat more regular pricing updates in short publications. Perhaps the regular pricing updates might be able to really benefit from the SQL formatting?? I do not know as I mentioned I am not an expert, but it would be great if you dropped an email to the guy who is in charge of the creating the new 7th edition - Jim Graue. I do not know if this is what my exhibit judge was talking about, but here is an "event cover" that marks the beginning of the Army flight on July 19, 1934:
Not mail, just an event cover. But I've never seen one like it before.

The 1934 Army plane flight from Washington DC to Alaska is included in Volume 5 Fifth edition of the American Airmail Catalogue. It is US Souvenir Historic Flight 684. The cover I have is similar to 684A with postal markings of July 19th, backstamped Fairbanks on July 25
