I recently had to stop at Mt Barker in Western Australia
(wheel bearing noise) and a possible overnight stay if we could get the parts.
Nearest accommodation was "Nomads Guesthouse"
Mongolian Yurts, and rescue kangaroos from Road Trauma.

Rod, hope you enjoyed staying in the Yurt!!

Cover sent registered by the Soviet Philatelic Association to a stamp company in New York, USA. It is franked with Tuvan stamps from different sets and cancelled with Kyzyl postmark on February 12, 1937. Arrival postmarks were applied in NY post office on March 14 and March 15, 1937.

Many covers like this one were sent to philatelists and philatelic companies in Europe and USA. See similar cover posted by codexluminati in the first page of this thread:

Nice collection! Those are nice stamps, my impression is they are quite popular too among collectors. I have some pages myself, but only with the corner cancels, which I assume are CTO's or something like that.

Thank you very much, chris2015 and ubiyca!
ubiyca, I will be glad if you share with us your album pages even they are CTO. Most Tuvan stamps offered in the markets are CTO but fortunately they were applied with week cancellation in the corner so you can see the stamp image very clear.

The first Tuva airmail set of stamps was issued in April 4, 1934. There are nine stamps in the set, all with the inscription "AIR MAIL" in English only, no Russian, probably to attract foreign stamp collectors. Here are the first five of them:

Domestic Yak (Bos grunniens):

Bactrian Camel (Camelus bactrianus):

Eurasian Capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus), the only bird stamp issued by Tuva:

Bactrian Camel (Camelus bactrianus):

Argali (Ovis ammon):
