I have cracked it, Early Hungary no problems, thus far.
Grabbed my MSWorks database, had a new base up and running in 2 minutes.

Entered all the "Coloured Numerals" from Scott (Over 200)
I am thinking Watermarking now is just a "proof" dip,
no scratching the head.

1. You have the colour
2. You measure your perforations
3. Search the database for a subset
4. Proof dip for the Wmk

I had this 2 kreuzer Violet, measured 11.5 x 11.3 guaging.

Asked the database on "Violet"
Just 2 fit.
A quik dip in the Ronsonal = Wmk 132 (Kr in circle) = Sc# 18a

I am going to expand on the "Turul" set in the coming days.

Most people do not have the 1980 MSWorks, but you may have a work around, if I'll send it to you when finished.

Gee...looks almost blue here, it is def Violet

Are you sure? The overprint inscription reads "The national army intrusion" and this stamp set is attributed to Horty's regime, though they did enter Budapest under the support of Romania.

With guaging the "Envelope" series, finding it a lot easier
to employ representative known Perf examples, than using the guage every time.

I think that's a 18a, the red ink is fugitive and running

I think you may have it in error on 3 accounts.
1. 18a is a 2 Kreuzer (not a 5k)
2. 18a is Violet (Not red)
3. I have no evidence at all that any coloured numeral is shown, or identified as fugitive ink.

Of course, welcome any published advice to the contrary.

(Never seen an image of Crown in Oval ?)

I have concluded it is Sc# 40b ($75 / $3) (Wmk 135 in Circle)
Type A3 10k Blue Perf 12 x 11.5

Paper does not look "yellowish"
Paper thickness = .0025" (Thin)
Regular stamps of this ilk seem to be around .005"

(As an aside, I find the Perforation guage of 15, to be amazing

Is anyone familiar with this sheet? The stamps are 1963 Conference of Postal Ministers of Socialist Countries, should I assume this was issued at the conference? The back is numbered 1612, would anyone know how many of these were issued? thank you.
