I don't believe so. That would be a monumental (and expensive!) task to undertake.

Excuse my ( naive ) question please, but why would that be necessary?

Because the present site does not use responsive design, so on a smartphone (not a tablet) it requires constant pinching and zooming to see anything.

I understand that part, I was just wondering why one would use this "on the road"?

Really? I visit this and other forums all the time from my cellphone. Not daily, but several times per week.

I use the DolphinHD browser on Android (better feature set than the default Android browser) and set by browser client to "Desktop" rather than "Android" and everything works the same as it does on a desktop or laptop. Yes there's a lot of pinch zooming and scrolling involved, but actually I prefer that to many of the forums out there that DO have mobile apps, as the mobile app versions of forums are usually feature-crippled, which I hate.

On the one hand...
The new iPhone out today is $1000, more than some have paid for their desktops. I count over 50 active users on mobile device viewing the site right now.

On the other hand...
This site uses a SQL backend and making this responsive is neither cheap or easy. I am not intimate with the code but I would guess it would take at least 100-200 man-hours.
