This one's a bit of a "cheater" in that its not a government sanctioned marking but is found as part of a corner card. Since I'm not sure of the latitude allowed in this census, I decided to include it. Verso is blank, so not scanned.  |

The sender, of St. Louis, addressed the cover to himself c/o postmaster at Nashville. Knowing it would not be claimed at the general delivery office because he would not be there, he prepaid the return postage to avoid any delay for postage due. The prepayment could have been a POD requirement for getting the cover on the first flight noted in the cachet. The Nashville PO knew what was going on and duly canceled the stamps on the back. |

Here is a Southee Movers cover from 1931. The pointing hand stamp is very much like the one on the 1924 Southee cover on page 3 of this thread. On this marking there is no period after "UNCLAIMED".   |
