Hello. I recently purchased a Se-tenant of the 39 Cent Franklin issue, and all four of the stamps are, well, off. All of the colors are off. I'm going to try and upload images. If someone would care to give me some advice, I'd appreciate it.
That is a nice mis-alignment of the red plate. I have no idea about it's value, but sometimes you can find one for sale on Ebay and give you some idea of the value.
Well, I'm guess that based on the lack of responses, I haven't found something all that unusual. That's cool. I'll just mount it and move on. :) Thanks for the replies.
Slight color misregistrations are classified as freaks. Noteworthy, but even if rare or unique, not hugely valuable above the standard catalog value. On some issues, finding the colors perfectly aligned is more uncommon.
