A partial view of my desktop. I used to have an actual snapshot of the Italian Dolomites but my newer computer doesn't have all my old pictures :-( but had a similar one. I love mountains.
I love stamps!--Jim Wentzell stampguyaps177-681 |

jamesw, Quote: do you love mountains of stamps? Yes, I do! More than cake, but not by much. Especially cheesecake. And snow-covered mountains. But not cheesy stamps or snow-covered cake. I like ice-cream, and l like cake, but never ice-cream cake. BTW james, I REALLY like your initials. My middle name is Michael, hopefully yours is not :-) --Jim (James) Wentzell stampguyaps177-681 |

Thread bumped: Dormant 5 years I just cracked up with laughter, when seeing Scotz screen Oh man, that was funny. The busiest desktop I have witnessed Today, colour my desktop "Panic!" How's this for a Windows 10 boot time....12 minutes I thought my computer was crashing. Did an sfc, and a "restore health" and back to immediate load. I wonder what caused that? |

Good Morning Rod: I'm glad you resurrected this thread. My desktop has changed since my first post. I've retired and I now run macOS rather than Windows. But, I still have that same library of stamp scans that I've harvested from SCF. My desktop gets cluttered when I'm working on a project, so I prefer a stamp image centered on the desktop, rather than full-screen. That way, my desktop icons don't get lost on the stamp image. |

Always nice to hear from you Kirk I often wonder how you are going You have joined the retirees Reading SCF, watching cricket, women's football I often feel guilty, some people are really suffering, I wish the world could find peace. I work with a third of the screen in icons, I thought I was the worst, until I saw Scotz |
