Grrr. I know that I have answered this multiple times. There are a handful of website which are not allowed because they have previously broken the spam rule here.

We disallow 'free' advertising for commercial sites. If a commercial site owner want to join the community, they have to play by the same rules as the rest of us (contribute).

They can join and help others. Or they can donate a few dollars. Or they can sponsor a forum category. Or they can buy a banner ad. There are several ways (including no cost ways) to support our community.

I have never seen any site added to the disallow list unless they have repeatedly broken the rules.

Note Koala Stamps, Varisell, and CDDstamps at top of this page. They are commercial sites which ARE supporting our community. Would it be fair to them to allow spammers free advertising while they support us?

Watermark is 100% correct. I will avoid going into details, suffice it to say I attended the auction (advertised as unreserved!) and anyone who bought may have paid above a "bought-in" price. Plus, I do not want to be sued!

Couldn't get the link put on here for the website because it is blocked by this website. Am I missing something here about this stamp and its previous selling at auction?

How about a bunch of overzealous philatelists get together and pitch in to buy such a stamp and then share having it for a few days each year under their thumbs like shareholders of a travelling house to house private stamp exhibit?
