While sorting a box of pictures, covers and newspapers I found two more checks on the bank. I scanned them because these are older and feature revenues.
February 1879 check. The upper left corner is intact just folded over towards the back. The portion of the revenue in the denomination area (on the left) is there but I didn't want to risk damaging it trying to get it to lay flat.
March 1879 check features a revenue stamp (I don't know if there is a specific associated with this)
These checks could have easily been lost to collectors had my stepmother not entrusted me to sort the contents of a box she inherited
