I do not have any that I can find, but for this Thanksgiving here in the US, show us your turkeys on stamps! Thanks, Robert

Belize Birds September 3, 1977 Set of six, one stamp depicts Ocellated Turkey ( Agriocharis ocellata), a species of turkey residing primarily in the Yucatán Peninsula. (Kris Rascher: I decided to remove the Romanian stamp due to its problematic design; perhaps it should go to the HUH thread) |

Libya issued a sheet of 16 domesticated animals in 1983 - one of them is a turkey, a little bit ruffled. (Thanks to Crows for the info on the Audubons, I didn't know about that incident, but have so far never seen a real used stamp. K.) Hi Kuol, I was disappointed to see your ruffled turkey fly off to somewhere else, I clearly remember when a family of turkeys used to come to the garden and enjoy a bath in the soil and they sure looked just like the Romanian bird when they shook themselves thereafter. By the way, the hunting stamps put out by US states are often beautifully done, do you think anyone would mind seeing some here? K. |
