I thought I would start a thread for all to show off the beauty of these engraved sets. The bi-color sets really stand out to me the most.

Stalizer.

I couldn't agree with you more. I like my KGVI stamps so much that I mount them with hinges. I just couldn't cover them over with mounts.

Speaking of Favorite Thread, ave they ever thought about creating a new forum for British and Commonwealth? I am just now beginning to morph into a British used collection as I am nearly halfway thru my KGVI mint collection. I noticed there was no forum for British and Commonwealth. Sound good?

Lovely stamps, nice scans. We've discussed it here in the past, but there are a lot of new faces, so...the Hong Kong set incorporates bats into the designs of the various frames because they're considered a good-luck symbol locally.
