I have just noticed that there is a significant offset in either the frame or the vignette plate for the first 1935 Silver Jubilee stamp from Antigua. The second example appears "normal". My question is whether or not this was common as I cannot seem to find any literature on this subject. All help will be greatly appreciated on this subject.

I have had a quick look at other 1935 Silver Jubilee examples and the offset seems to be fairly common and in varying degrees. Any other info will help. Thanks.

Hi vanchester. These stamps were printed in two press runs, one for the king and the border and one ( blue ) plate for the castle. Mis alignment in these type of stamps is extremely common.
