I don't recognize that one. I have a lot of the early ones but not that one. Any more where that came from ?

Hoover type L-3Ts but the Souder catalog doesn't list the user.

Value in the PSS Classics catalog - 1.50 USD. PSS does not list users either but it is more current and has reliable pricing.

If you are seriously pursuing precancels, the best thing you can do for yourself is to join the Precancel Stamp Society. Their monthly journal often has articles about who used which precancel and when. Once you are a member, you can access their digital library.

A couple of catalogs which should be purchased include the Town & Type catalog and any catalog for an area you want to specialize in. There are literally millions of precancels, when you take into consideration the use of a precancel type on each different definitive stamp (and sometimes on commemoratives).

Thank you all for the great feedback and for sharing. I have never actively collected precancels, their scope has always been a bit intimidating to me.
