US Precancels - Has Anybody Manged To Get All Towns ?

I wonder if anybody managed to get at least one precancel from all towns. Not asking about types, only towns.

If not, what is the highest score ?

No one collector has all towns (the list is closely watched).
I don't have the list handy but the best collection needs under 10 of all 21,341.
( I have one he needs )
There will be a few new towns added to the list when the 8th edition of the PSS catalog gets released this year.

Does it mean there are still towns issuing precancels ? Or simply omitted to list?

new finds of old stamps show up in old collections....
or new research/scholarship proves that stamps thought to be precancels are not, and vice versa.
there are no newly issued precancels
one cool thing about precancels is new things can turn up
as you might imagine the vetting process to get included in the catalog/canon is rigorous (and often contentious)

From time to time I saw a precancel (for example Love MS) I could not find in the PSS printable pages. So I thought it was an error on stamp, now I understand it was an ommission of PSS.

As you are familiar with PSS catalogs, another question. I have seen priced pages with prices 5 cent, 10 cents, 15 cents. I understand that the minimum catalog price is 20 cents now, right ? What will be the minimum price in next catalog ?

The minimum PSS catalog price is $0.15 US.

To have all towns you'd need a cumulative lists of all towns possible. For bureaus it's been done I'm sure, or close to completion. But for locals, unlikely... I believe new ones still pop up from time to time...

but there are going to be a few new discoveries listed in the 8th edition list coming out in 2018
There are some sad cases listing at only 10 cents in the current catalog...

Is that in your collection Chasa? or Someone else's? Either way nicely done...
