Republic of China (Taiwan) Landscapes - Nantou County August 12, 2020 Sun Moon Lake is the largest natural inland lake on the island of Taiwan. It occupies a basin surrounded by Paleocene slate formations. The area around the lake is home to the Thao tribe, one of aboriginal tribes of Taiwan.  |
