This set of four stamps (Facit #s 811-4) was issued by Iceland on December 3, 1992 in cooperation with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Stamps depict different views of the gyrfalcon, Iceland's national bird.

From wikipedia, "The gyrfalcon (Falco rusticolus), the largest of the falcon species, is a bird of prey. It breeds on Arctic coasts and tundra, and the islands of northern North America and the Eurosiberian region. Like other falcons, it shows sexual dimorphism, with the female much larger than the male."
