This 1983 anti-tuberculosis charity seal of Zimbabwe depicts a wattled crane (Grus carunculata), a large wading bird native to Sub-Saharan Africa. The wattled crane is the largest African crane, reaching a height of 150-175 cm/4 ft 11 in - 5 ft 9 in.
