Thanks Bob,
I was using both the LG Catalogue, and the Malaysia Singapore Brunei Catalogue, in their defence, they are dated 1999 and 1995 resp.
So I guess the numbers were not in fully by then.

I'll pencil in your corrections.

Yep, hard to beat the Germans.

Here are 2 plate flaws on Stanley Gibbons #38, plate 1B.

Oops! It should say vertical row 1, positions 9 and 10.

Recently received this in some kiloware. So, I compared it to my 3 other similar items and discovered that they were identical, except for the information on the left side. A quick web search showed this as a bulk mail postage paid label. The 4 allowable designs include this one with the Traveler's Palm. Wish I could find the other 3 types.

TMF Services is an accounting and payroll management company. I note that Rod's is the same mailer, "1880".

Thanks Rod. Yes, Singapore Post's 9 page "terms and conditions for PPI" document was the first thing that caught my eye on the search.

I have the "Vanda Miss" Orchid type, somewhere, cannot find it at the moment, possibly in with another Malay State Album.

These labels are not listed in any Catalogue (including Frama) that I have looked through.

The King George VI set from Singapore features two perforations and some interesting color shades.

Stamps from the initial printing in 1948 were perforated 13.75 x 14, but in 1949 this was changed to 17.5 x 18 until the set was replaced in 1953 by the QEII issues. You can easily see the difference in the perforations when you compare the two, as shown in the two $5 issues below. (Perf 13.75 is on the left, and Perf 17.5 x 18 is on the right.)

There are some interesting color shades. See my web page for more details on this set, including the Commonwealth, Gibbons and Scott listings for these stamps.

Here are two more Singapore postage paid labels.

First one is on heavy, shiny paper. Second one is different "basic design", showing Singapore Post Centre.
