I have a 5c Mauritius silver jubilee. I have 12 different ones. This one has a very slight vertical line left of flag pole.I have seen others that have vertical line but look much taller. My question how big does the line have to be to be of value. Thanks

I understand but I don't have a scanner to get good pics. If you know about the extra flag pole or lighting rod they talk about this stamp you will know what I am asking about. thanks for the input

The extra flag pole and lightning rod varieties aren't found on the Mauritius 5c.

However, there is a "dot by flagstaff" variety.

Here is the Stanley Gibbons illustration of the main listed varieties. There are more but they do not occur in a consistent plate position and can't be considered as significant. These lovely stamps are a "flyspecker's paradise!"

It doesn't sound like a listed variety, but definitely worth keeping.

Do you have a scan you can share with us?
