After learning that someof my early Italians were fakes, I'm a little wary as I go through the collection my father-in-law's left me. Here are five that I hope are legitimate:

Thanks in advance

Pretty sue you have five real ones. One item you may not realize about the stamps with King Willem on them - there are plenty of different perforations possible, some of which are rare.

I believe that they are all legitimate, although the condition could be better.

The fourth one appears to have a straight line cancel ROSMALEN. This type of cancel is less common.

The first stamp is probably a plate 7.(little horn on forehead), but I am not an expert on first issue. The stamp is short on the edges. All 4 edges should have a 3/4 mm white edge.

Second stamp: well centered, slight perforation problem bottom right.

Third stamp, nice stamp. important with this one is the fact that ones with a golden color/golden shine are more desirable.

Stamps 4 and 5 are fairly common. Peter and Jan have already mentioned that postmark an peforation can be of importance.

They also exist in 2 types. I have posted a couple of cards which show the differences between the 2 types a while ago. But I am a idiot when it comes to links.
