There is nowhere else that you can get this amount of information about stamps. You can Post a question about stamps and usually within half hour you receive an answer, and within a day you will have more information that you realized was out there about the question you asked. I have never seen any of the old pros make fun of a new member for the question asked.

SCF is a great place to share "stamping" with very knowledgeable people all over the World, show your stamps, your pages, even get help from other members. There are so many various threads that each time I log in I find a new subject. After a while, you even help, depending on the subject and your knowledge.

I enjoy the sense of community and the high quality discussions surrounding stamp identification. This is hard to achieve in an online format and I commend the community for creating something truly unique.

I like the generous nature of the community. Members offer suggestions, share knowledge, help newbies with everything, discuss beginner questions to topicals to specialized advanced philatelic questions, and help with photos and scans. Additionally, the moderators help the members follow the rules of the board, which is a good, good thing.

Enter me, please and thank you.

I like how friendly this forum was immediately, after I ran away from another forum I won't name after being insulted. No name-calling here. Just lots of smart people always willing to offer up some great stamp knowledge that I can't find anywhere else. I can dig deep for info any time of day.

I think we all know the forum everyone is referring to. The "Sheriff" there is a bit overbearing. That is why I moved here recently, and so far really enjoy it!!
