how common were these errors? or is this an error and if so what is its approximate value?

It's not strictly an error in stamp terms but probably more in the vein of a freak. Not rare but not common, either. Someone will chime in with an approximate value. Nice find!

I believe it is called a mis-cut booklet pane. This one is mis-cut quite a bit - nice!

ok, ill try a different approach on the question of value. If you, scf member or reader, were the owner of this little booklet of 12 stamps and wanted to sell it, then what would you list as the starting bid and what would you hope for the final sale price?

It is a striking EFO but miscuts are fairly common for this booklet. Here is an similar pane that sold for $8.00

The X and crease on the front cover will reduce its value as a booklet and you might do better sell the two panes separately.
