This 1986 stamp of Costa Rica publicizes the UN's "Year of Peace". The word "peace" is repeated in many languages and lettering styles.

On May 16, 1941 Croatia issued these two stamps (Mi #s 41-2). They are overprints of Yugoslavian King Peter II definitives.

On October 24, 1975 India issued this one rupee stamp (Sc #701) to commemorate the birth bicentenary of Bahadur Shah Zafar (1775-1862), the country's last Mogul emperor. Stamp shows one of Zafar's poems.

Here is Denmark's May 2, 1991 stamp (Facit #1029) commemorating the 750th anniversary of the Jutland Law. Stamp depicts the front page of a 1280's manuscript explaining "Law is the foundation of every nation."

On January 15, 1999 Singapore issued this set of three stamps (S.G. 975-7) to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the country's Inter-Religious Organization.

On August 1, 2011 Singapore issued a set of two stamps to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Singapore Economic Development Board. The $2 high value has a pictorial design, but the "1st Local" (26c) stamp, shown here uses "HOME" as the central element.
