The stamp set pays tribute to Julio Cortázar (1914-1984), an Argentine novelist and essayist known as one of the founders of the Latin American Boom. One stamp shows text CORTAZAR and numeral 100 in comic book style fonts.

On January 31, 1966 the Netherlands issued this set of two semi-postal stamps Sc #s B407-8) to honor the Intergovernmental Committee for European Migration (ICEM). The ICEM was formed to deal with the problem of the 11 million refugees and displaced persons in Europe as a result of World War II. The ICEM has transformed into the UN's International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Inscription on stamp says "takes them to safe haven."

Here is Austria's February 15, 1985 stamp (Mi #1804) commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Vocational Training Institute (BFI). A four-layered "bfi" dominates the design.

Here is a packet card from post-WWII Germany franked with two different "numeral" series definitive series stamps. The red 60 pf stamp is from the February 1946 series used in the British, American and Soviet zones of occupation. The gray 10 pf stamps are from the November 1945 West Saxony (Soviet Zone) series.

Although the cancel on the stamps is from Grimma, the card and parcel originated from a contract post office/store in Beiersdorf ueber Grimma, Saxony as the box cancel on the reverse of the card shows.

On December 3, 1971 Austria issued this 4 + 1.50 schilling stamp (Mi #1380) to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Austrian Philatelic Society.

Here is the 12 pf value (Mi #671) from Austria's June 1945 set of "barred overprint" stamps. This stamp was issued on June 23, 1945 according to Michel.

On February 14, 1980 the Federal Republic of Germany issued this 60 pf stamp (Mi #1039) to commemorate the centenary of the first publication of Konrad Duden's (1829-1911) German language dictionary. Stamp shows text from old (left) and new (right) editions.

This personalized stamp/"Marke-Individuell" of Germany appears to have been used by Postbank. Cancellation indicates the correspondence was processed at Briefzentrum 53, the large, Bonn region mail processing center in Troisdorf.

From wikipedia, "Postbank is the retail banking division of Deutsche Bank, which was formed from the demerger of the postal savings division of Deutsche Bundespost in 1990."

Here is another personalized stamp of Germany. The "dm" logo indicates that it was used by "dm-drogerie markt"/ dm drugstore of Germany. The business model shows it is roughly equivalent to the CVS drugstore chain in the USA. Dm-drogerie markt currently operates in 13 Central European countries.

From wikipedia, "dm-drogerie markt is a chain of retail stores headquartered in Karlsruhe, Germany that sells cosmetics, healthcare items, household products, and health food. In its industry sector, dm-drogerie markt is Germany's largest retailer measured in revenues."

Inscription on stamp says, "Moments connect four decades of dm". Inscription on bottom of stamp shows that its validity ended on December 31, 2013.

This German personalized .55 euro stamp carries the logo of ARAG.

From wikipedia, "ARAG SE is a European insurance group. Its headquarters are located in the ARAG-Tower in Duesseldorf-Moersenbroich, Germany. The group's international legal insurance business accounts for 2.3 million policies alone, making it the second-largest legal insurer in the world."

Inscription on stamp says, "75 Years of Legal Protection."

On December 23, 1964 Cuba issued this 3c stamp (Sc #931a) inscribed "2nd Declaration of Havana". Stamp presents the entire text of a long speech given by Fidel Castro on February 2, 1962 after Cuba had been expelled by the Organization of American States.

This pair of stamps (Mi #s 124-5) was issued by West Saxony (Soviet Zone, post WWII Germany) on October 18, 1945 to publicize the Leipzig Fall Fair.

On May 2, 1991 Poland issued a set of two stamps commemorating the bicentenary of the Constitution of May 3, 1791. Here is the low value 2000 zloty stamp (Sc #3035) of the set.
