These stamps are the 10 ore "red" posthorn stamp of Norway, of which there are four or five main varieties. The differences are based on the font of the word Norge, perforations, shading of the posthorn, watermark, and shade of red. The font of your stamps is Roman and the posthorn appears to have a clear white ring. This would most likely make your stamps Scott #80. The stamps were first issued in 1910. They have minimal value.

Thank you since I didn't see your response I just posted 7 postcards on eBay I didn't check for what you mentioned but I'm sure if there any unique differences a collector will buy them ... very much appreciated Maria's

Actually I didn't yet I posted other stamps here are a few that I have in the red 10 I have ALOT different color ones too from around the same time tyia ~ Maria

Yes, there are a large number of shade varieties that the Scott catalog does not come even close to covering adequately. The Facit and Norgeskatalogen catalogs do a much better job of this.

Absolutely true. For those that does not have the mentioned catalogs, this site is very useful for studying and identifing Posthorns in more detail: http://www.frimerkehuset.no/fh/post...posthorn.htm + add the aid of google translate

@Maria - I really like these covers, as they're all cancelled in my tiny hometown (Arendal) - the pair with SOTN cancels in particular

I think the OP is mostly referring to other denominations that are in different colors, rather than shade varieties of the 10 ore.
