More teatime in Japan, this pot looks cold with all those drips of condense water - also the glasses suggest a cold drink, but I don't know what it is. 2013 |

Klaus (Germany) Tania received your Cover and Teapot stamps, for Christmas, and was apparently delighted. I put it in a box of old white teapots I had in the attic.
So Merry Christmas to you, thanks for your generosity.

Another stamp from the Belgian set featuring paintings by Theo van Rysselberghe shows another teatime - out in the sunny afternoon garden. The 1 in a circle indicates the denomination for national mail, forever stamps. (Hi Crows, Glad you like them - the stamps themselves have very soft colors, so I cut out the pots from scans of the original found on the web. K.) |

Taiwan China issued a set of four stamps featuring heavy-looking tea pots in 1989. This one is fairly flat and made of yellow pottery clay. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to read the text? |

Regarding the teapot from Japan posted by Kris on Jan 3, 2019. I do believe it is showing iced tea,the reason for the condensate beads of water on the pot and glasses. |
