If you run the trains thru the top floors of the skyscrapers, people will be able to walk down the stairs to their office. Nice!

Of course, you'd have to build the skyscrapers to support all of that extra weight, not to mention the structural torque when only one train stopped at any given moment.

Bi-planes, tri-planes ... my, the future looked bright! ... the artist, Moses King, passed in 1909, but this illustration made it onto a post-war postcard.

Unsurprisingly, he had a career in publishing, not architecture.

Q/ Any other futuristic postcards out there?

Here's a postcard from the New York World's Fair that I bought recently. Also retro-futuristic, but in a different way.

More in line with the other cards that have been posted, here's one with the futuristic cityscape from Fritz Lang's classic film, Metropolis.
