Yes, I have been processing stamps of Switzerland the last couple of days. In the scan shown I believe I have Scott #37 38 38 and 39 unless they are fakes or forgeries. Does anyone recognize the overprint or cancel on the 20 rappen orange. It looks to be "WEGGIS", which is a town in Switzerland

WILLWOOD 42 ---If you had that stamp on cover ,it would tell us that the stamp was struck with WEGGIS as the acceptance post office. Then the cover would be struck again off the stamp by a transit cds from the parent post office on the front of the cover .

Willwood42, I do not use Scott so I can not tell if your numbers are OK. But please change the heading to "Sitting Helvetia" cause these ladies are most certainly not standing!

Hi floortrader,

Is there any premium for this sort of cancellation, in the way there is for penny post cancels on early Great Britain stamps?
