I found some precancels that I can't indentify in the PSS Town and Type catalog.
The first one is from Baltimore:

The lines are 10mm apart, with leters 2mm high, town and state 2.5mm apart.

The second is from Concord:

The lines are 14.5mm apart, with letters 4mm high, town and state 2mm apart.

And the last one from Boulder:

The lines are 11.5mm apart, with letters 2mm high, town and state 2mm apart.

Thanks for the help.

There are two basic precancels. 1) Town and Type Precancels and also 2) Bureau Precancels. Bureau Precancels were printed by the government. The Baltimore and Boulder stamps are Bureau precancels which explains why you could find them in your Town and Type Catalog. The Baltimore Bureau precancel is also called a "Dated" precancel for the MW- FEB42. Large retailers were required to identify themselves: MW is Montgomery Ward and FEB42 is month and year date the stamp was used.

I'm not sure what the middle precancel would be.

chase, I'll take your word on this. Many years ago; Late 1990s - early 2000s, I bought a cd that I am pretty sure was from pss. As far as I can recall it didn't have Bureau's on it. However, it is possible it had Bureaus and if so they must have been locked because I did not find any Bureau precancels on the disk. My antiquated knowledge has my face plastered with egg.
