On November 7, 1984 New Zealand issued a four-value set of N.Z. Military History stamps. The 58c value (Sg #1354), shown here, depicts "tanks of the Second N.Z. Divisional Cavalry, North Africa, 1942" (Stanley Gibbons).

A light rendering of a tank can be seen on this $1.00 value (SG #552) from New Zealand's May 16, 1990 NZ Heritage (5th issue) set of 6 stamps. Stamp depicts Lt. Gen. Bernard Freyberg who fought for the allied forces in both world wars.

From wikipedia, "In the climactic Second Battle of El Alemein (Oct.-Nov. 1942), the 2nd New Zealand Division played a vital part in the breakthrough by the Eighth Army; for his leadership, Freyberg was immediately promoted to Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath."
