After I posted this, I found this image below and article says less diversity of breed of corn/maize would make climate adaptability less...

Another sweetcorn/maize stamp from Italy. At this point, I realise those maize are used for Polenta and are they counted as vegetable.. or grain..? I hope grain is a part of vege.
