No one outside of emergency vehicles should be out in minus 70 wind chills.

-30 here in Minneapolis, don't blame them. If a vehicle breaks down in this weather you could die.

Yes, it has never been this cold before.

I wonder if construction workers etc. have the day off.

All outdoor work is cancelled here in the twin cities area. McDonalds even closed their places here today, I'm the only idiot at work.

Reminds me again of one of the reasons I moved from central Indiana to Colorado. Today in Denver: mid-40s and sunny. Tomorrow through Saturday in Denver: sunny with temps in low to mid-50s.

Please don't move here. We have enough people already. ;-)

Rogdcam, you're a cranky old man shouting at clouds.

The other stamp forum has a steady stream of (one or two) regulars incessantly whining about their mail not being delivered before noon every day; we don't need that here.

A 1-day delay in your mail delivery is the end of the world? Seriously? I'd bet if you were the person having to be outside in -40+ wind chills you'd be singing a different tune.

Neither rain nor snow, but if it's 75 below - forget it! Perfect weather for stamping, as long as the heat stays on. Break out the Ronsonal...

We shut down for little more than one flake of snow in the UK. Good luck with the weather. I remember having this sort of temperature in Mongolia. Bracing.
