Well, the seller has it described as XF-SUP, (Grade 95), which would carry a CV of $40. Perhaps someone is thinking it grades higher, but I agree, I don't see that. In fact, it's centered high and left... so would grade more around XF which is $17. At least it's not some altered stamp someone is trying to pass off as "high value".
Color and centering and two guys with more money than they know what to do with! The stamp has exceptional centering for that issue and the color is Blue versus the normal Dark Blue shade normally seen. All his scans appear on the "light" side....hmmmm. Click on "26 Bids" and you'll see the bidding history and how many bidders are involved. It also looks like someone just started jumped in to push the bid up.
