I am afraid these are all very common stamps that will sell for next to nothing. You may find a surprise in here, like a tagging variety, but that is hard to tell this way.

If you bought them because you like them and you intend to continue collecting, you did fine. If you bought them because you thought they were valuable you will be disappointed.

Tagging is what you can't see ... without a UV lamp. Starting in the early 60s, the U.S. started adding "invisible" tagging chemicals to stamps. The taggant fluoresces under shortwave UV, allowing automatic canceling equipment to detect their presence and location. By the late 60s, just about all normal or high denomination U.S. stamps were tagged. But this created the opportunity for a new kind of error ... "tagging omitted" stamps. Some are fairly rare, but many of the early ones were rather common, worth maybe a handful of dollars per stamp.

50 pages x about 12 per page = 600 random U.S. stamps.

Subway Stamp (www.subwaystamp.com) sells packets of 200 U.S. stamps for $4.85
A packet of 1000 would be $31.50

Good luck.

Dont get me wrong, I love US stamps in any form but there is something about a DIY album( do it yourself album ) like this one that the collector made with their own hands and wrote numbers, dates, ext.. on blank sheets of paper. Maybe couldn't afford a stamp album? Or whatever the case may be. They found a way. These folks truley had the passion. I found a few DIY books in my father's collection as well. Thanks Brian

A buck a page is probably ambitious, maybe half that, but this is a tough sell.
When we evaluate collections for buying on a large scale, these would all get $0 value. But that said, if it's your way in, and you are happy with them, then you're fine.
If you want to resell, asking a dollar a page technically isn't unreasonable, as SCOTT will have all these listed for about 25c catalog value, but of course getting catalog value is difficult on modern used stamps because there are so many ways to acquire them "very cheap". But then you have to do a lot more work yourself on them, that can be part of the fun, but it's up to how you want to approach it.
The long and short here is, there is no "right or wrong" answer per-say. You didn't get ripped off, you could also have gotten them cheaper, with some effort.

Many of the stamps are housed in Crystal Mounts of bygone days. I remember them well. And appear to be 'anchored' on the side with little hinges to keep them from falling out.

Scott lists stamps for a minimum value of 25c to take into account the cost of a dealer's overhead. The actual real-world value of a 25c Scott value is usually 5c or less.
