The dispute around these Island have been going on for years between the Phillipines & China and even Vietnam. Some interest group printed them.Perhaps the emblem on the top of the stamp can give a clue? Your stamp is a not in the same serie as in the link.

(((Embassy of Coldland)))

It could be Taiwan the origin of these ?. "Coldland" is some comic book world. Also note the emblem in the cancel,it has the same flower shape with the petals.

A bunch of Coldland stamps. American made then ?

Coldland is in Taiwan. The Spratly Islands were part of Coldland's empire, which also included Uran Island, which is in a land-locked archipelago on Antarctica. This image is an essay from Coldland's notorious Embassy in USA. The Embassy in USA was assaulted and annihilated by U.S. security forces in early 2021.

As stated above these Islands have been in dispute for all of the last 60+ years.

The main contestants in this dispute are Mainland China(Peoples Republic of China), Taiwan(Republic of China), The Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and Brunei. The current dispute over fishing rights in the area is what they are all fighting over currently.

This link will provide a Wiki history of the dispute, and add a little more info.

The stamp, I agree is probably a local type issue in order to establish some sort of relevance to that groups claim. Just like so many other Cinderellas and Non Issued State stamps. IMHO

Having brought out the magnifier? I'm probably stating the obvious, however it is printed in English including the cancel. All the players in this dispute don't use English.

The stamp is reminiscent of the early UK stamp (Victorian Era) printings. Yet it is canceled in 2015. I just find it all very odd indeed.

Thanks for posting, I love a good detective search. I will be following this thread.

The Spratly Islands stamp depicts Emperor Chongtai of Coldland. Very similar stamps were issued for Coldland (in Taiwan), and also for its Embassy in USA. I was Coldland's Ambassador to USA from September 2010 until January 2021, when the Embassy of Imperial Coldland in USA was assaulted and annihilated by U.S. internal security forces because of our Plague Mail program. Coldland was a Republic until it asserted ownership of Uran and the Spratly islands, at which time the Empire was declared. Wolf was the Emperor's totem, so Wolf appears on many of Coldland's stamps. Bear is my totem, so Bear is a common Embassy motif. Some Coldland stamps feature both Wolf and Bear. Note the Bear on the large stamp above is wearing a wolf's-head medallion. All but two of the other stamps shown so far are from Coldland. The ornate upper-left stamp in the multi-stamp pic is from the Embassy. It was issued for the 11SEP2010 opening of the Embassy (Dearborn, MI). The blue & yellow one below it is known as a 'Square Bear', also from the Embassy. All but the earliest of Embassy stamps have a water-soluble UV security feature, so don't soak them! Coldland had one other Embassy (Taiwan) and several Legations: Singapore (Lion), Wyoming (Elk), etc.

Semi-postal essay for construction of the Emperor's mausoleum:
