What is the difference between the Great Britain Windsor Elite and Sovereign stamp albums?

I think it's basically the binder. The Elite is a 22-ring binder that matches the Gibbons range of Commonwealth printed albums, while the Sovereign, which is also a ring binder, has a faux-leather effect.

SG no longer produces the Elite. I think they supplement it but that's about it.

I think the Elite had a slightly smaller page size that matched the pages they use in their George VI and other such albums. I thought it a very attractive album but apparently not enough others did.

The tan sovereign binders are no longer available and they have now gone to the smaller red binders as well. See link below.

It seems like they change things as much as everyone else which makes it very difficult to buy anything used as far as binder are concerned.

I think at one time they also made them in larger red binders.

Does any one know when they last updated the sovereign pages?

May have to go with the popular line as I think they have the same pages but in spring back binders. Can anyone confirm that?

Do you know if the pages in the spring back are the same as in the sovereign and if they are hole punched?
