OK, I know there is a thread for small animals... BUT I would like to see specifically SQUIRRELS on stamps! (That does include chipmunks, by the way!) I've been feeding the local bushy-tails since I was a little kid, so I can't help but also like them on stamps.

From what I have seen here and there, a lot stamp issues with squirrels are of the "wallpaper" variety, so it will be interesting to see what shows up here.

I did a Google search and this is the first time the phrase "Please show me squirrels on stamps" has ever appeared on the internet!

A great topic!

lithograving, I love the thought of a flying squirrel on a stamp. Had a family of em in my backyard years ago when I lived in Maryland, US.

I have to see your flying squirrel and raise you with the giant spotted flying squirrel. Malaysia 298. Not in my collection I would add to clarify, but I am inspired by the topic...

I wonder that the USPS has not yet issued Rocky and Bullwinkle stamps to capitalize on the collector demographic.

I don't know which costs me the most: stamps or birdseed.

Birdseed to feed the birds, or the squirrels?

That's an awful big chipmunk on the San Marino stamp, if I may say so.

I'm sure that it is a beaver, being paired with a sugar maple.

I agree... the San Marino looks like a beaver planning his attack
