So Mon - Wed this week (29 Apr - 1st May 2019) is the Japan Philatelic Societies Spring Show. We have had tables there in the past, but not this year. But yesterday, I decided to venture over and see what things were like at this years show. WOW, a crazy huge crowd. The bourse floor was on level 5 and the exhibit floor on level 4 of a very large building. The queue wound down the stairs to the ground level (and up the stairs from level 5 as well!). Certainly the largest crowd I've seen to date. (They run this show twice a year, in May and in October).
Attached a couple photos from the event.

And here's images from my haul...

Don,
Yeah, the Movie Trains were a cool find. I had only noticed them in the Drummond book'o everything a few days back. The 114 Proof was cool as well. Some guy specialized in trains... I didn't care about the trains, but the stuff he had was cool. And the one at the top of that lot is a RS161P1 die on India mounted on card.
One more day to go, I might swoop back out again tomorrow if there is some time left.
One of my favorite dealers here has a brick and mortar (sort of) shop out at the Philatelic Museum. So I can pester him year round. Was good to see him out at the show though, most years he doesn't come out.
The 18c Hawaii Train Mail stamps were a mystery. I don't understand why Scott doesn't list them... but they are well known.

ClassicPhilatelist,
Wow! Busy place. I do have a question. With the show being in Japan,
is there a lot of US material available?

So after seeing this crowd, do you think you will have some tables in October? Seems like big crowds are where you want to be.
