I went to one of this seller's pages:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1892-1896-...AOSwZV5c329y

to look at this:

and this box popped up:

This box seems to appear with every one of this seller's items.

I haven't seen this before. Have you?

Jim

p.s. Must be a Google-Chrome-only type of thing. Works ok with Internet Explorer and Edge. Huh.

I got this too. Messaged him that he may be losing viewers for this lot - and any others he has. Have never seen this before.

Chrome, like every other browser, is a double edged sword. It is more 'lenient' so it allows some things like this while other more 'strict' browsers might not. But the more 'strict' browsers might not allow some things which Chrome lets run; resulting in the other side of the coin.

I keep beating the drum about how developing web pages and features really sucks in this day and age. What started as a good idea ('write once, run anywhere') has turned into a nightmare. I know folks love to blame and complain about websites and developers, but most of them have simply given up on trying to support the millions and millions of configurations in the wild'. Everyone now codes to 'middle of the road' or 'mainstream' because there is simply no feasible way to anticipate and account for the millions of configurations.
