There were frequent expositions of military weopons in the "Invalides" (Army Headquarters Paris) during the WWI
and just after.The 1st card is a captured German artillery piece.

Thanks for showing those photos. An unbelievable time in history made more stark by the fact that these photos are in black and white as opposed to color. There are at least 3 books on my reading list dealing with this time, place, and Woodrow Wilson.
