These stamps were on sale for only one day for a trial flight between Vladivostok and Spassk. Only 25 copies of three values were sold, the others in only slightly higher quantities.(1)July 29, 1923 for one-day air mail on the line Vladivostok - Nikolsk-Ussuriysky (now Ussuriysk) and Vladivostok - Spassk-Primorsky (now Spassk-Dalniy) stamps of an additional air mail rate were issued. On the stamps of the Russian Empire of the 17th, 20th and 21st editions and the stamps of the Omsk Government, a lithographic overprint was made with red ink on the silhouette of a biplane plane and the inscription in three lines "Vladivostok 1923 20 kop."
