A 1966 philatelic first-flight cover with an airmail border of traditional parallelograms and "air mail" in various languages. The envelope is made of buff colored paper and its all red border suggests a non-U.S. origin. |

A 1930 first-flight cover from Columbus, Ohio, with an airmail border commemorating coast to coast airmail and passenger service along with Air Mail Day on October 25, 1930. The small print in the lower left corner tells us this is a Linprint cover design. |

Not an airmail border, but an interesting airmail designater on this first-day cover for the five cents Washington Bicentennial stamp. It is a paste-on. |

A C Roessler was fond of Zeppelins and designed the envelope border, the blue Zeppelin cachet and the cinderella in the corner of the cover above. |

A 1950 first-flight cover with a hand-colored airmail designator. Does anyone know who made these covers? |
