Northeast Postal History & Ephemera Show July 20 & 21 2019 Albany New York
2019 July 20, 21
This weekend is the Northeast Postal History & Ephemera Show in Albany, New York this weekend July 20th and 21st.

Details here - http://www.nphes.com/

Anyone else going? I'll be there the first day.

Also want to note that it looks like the monthly show in the Albany area that was on the 3rd Sunday of each month is no longer a thing.

sorry for the late post.
the monthly 3rd Sunday show is dead. I was told by several people who used to do it. it apparently was done in by poor advertising and management. I was at the last show in July and both the attendance, advertising and overall quality was lacking imo. all who would comment were disgusted with the situation.

You mean the last show in June. They haven't had a monthly show in July or August for a few years so as not to conflict with the bigger show listed above. There definitely needed to be more advertising for the monthly show. There is another reason why it came to an end, but I'm not getting into that here. The local Albany stamp club is talking about have some sort of stamp show in the future.

As for the big show, I was there on the 20th and it seemed to be well attended when I actually looked up from my searches. I did fairly well - two box lots of misc. covers and well rewarded by going through a few other dealer $1 cover boxes. The best scores where a multitude of well-priced postcards of all sorts. The dealer had so many that I ran out of time before I could go through all the boxes.
