Good show Rod!

I played with Danish/English translation, and it appears that November comes up the same for both languages. So, one could assume that "Nov. 1" is a significant date for something in the Faroe Islands. This is a guess.

Well, I guess I'll have to answer my own question.

I emailed Sarah at Seal Carrier in Denmark and she was very helpful in answering my question (http://www.christmasseal.dk/english/site.html)

November 1st is a holiday in the Faroe Islands. They remember dead sailors.

Publisher: Disabled Fishermen's Fund.

The profits from the sale of the seals go to the Seamen's Widows / Disabled Fishermen's Fund. The seals are knows from 1979 to 1987, but may have be published from 1974 to 1978.

Nicely solved, well done. Saved in my Faroes folder.
