For these Stickney rotary press sheet stamps, the horizontal perforations were perforated by rotating perforating bars on a bar and wheel perforator. Thus, the top and bottom perforations are usually positioned directly straight across from each other.


For these Stickney rotary press sheet stamps, the vertical perforations were perforated by rotating perforating wheels on a bar and wheel perforator. Thus, the right side and left side perforations are usually not positioned directly straight across from each other.
