Earliest Known Use On Postal Stationary

Does anyone know of a site or catalogue that shows the earliest know use of postal stationary?

If you are looking for US postal stationery, check the United Postal Stationery website at

https://www.upss.org/erp/index.php

It appears to be limited to stamped envelopes.

Envelopes, by UPSS number, are shown, as reported, on the UPSS website. First day by UPSS number are given are given in the back of the UPSS catalog. Scott number first days are given in the Scott catalog and first day or ERP for postal cards, by UPSS number are given in the UPSS postal card catalog. Specific first day od issue may be requested from your research librarian or on this forum.

I am a member of UPSS and did look at the FD section of the book but it only goes back to 1932

I'm looking for U408 earliest known use. I have one dated Nov 6, 1907

It appears you are looking in the First Day section of the UPSS website.

What you want is the section for the "Earliest Reported Date of Usage" section, which is what was given in my earlier link:

https://www.upss.org/erp/index.php

If you go there, and select by Scott No, using "U408", they report
the ERP as: Aug. 22, 1907.

There are two other varieties of U408, and dates are given for them as well.

BTW: My cover is a 1616-15 ERP Sept. 7, 1907. It's early use, just not the first!
