Not sure which board this post belongs on but saw this story in my local paper this morning and thought it was interesting enough to share:

We were in Maui in 1984 and sent 6 to family and friends back on the mainland. If I remember correctly postage was about $5.00 each back then. The reaction from the recipients however was fantastic.
