I think I have identified this stamp correctly as a #443?? If I'm correct...is it unusual to see such a dark shading of green in the stamp. To the naked eye it almost appears to have a solid green background with very little definition which defines the white lines. Wondering if this is unusual? I know that stamps vary but this seems more drastic. Thanks for all the help with my posts.

These stamps are not 443. These are a different perforation rate from 443. (In addition that 443 is a coil, and your stamps are not.)
Back to square 1, what perforation rate do you gauge these at?

As for color, intensity, etc., these stamps were the workhorse stamps for over a decade and were printed in the billions. Natural variation is bound to occur within the normal print runs.

Hi,
A 443 is perf 10 only on the vertical sides (a coil stamp as John posted). You can find more information on your stamp here

This is nothing unusual, just heavier inking. Aside from the filled-in background, note the white space inside the outer frameline and the thin parts of the lettering are thinner because of more ink.
